No trip to Okinawa is complete without a visit to Shuri-jo. Since we arrived in Okinawa, Ryan and I have wanted to visit Shuri-jo. Last Saturday was the perfect opportunity since Ryan didn't have to go to the office and the sun was shining. The castle was stunning! We loved it so much, we bought an annual passport that gives us unlimited visits for a year!

The restored castle was built yards over the original castle. Parts of the original castle can be seen through glass plates in the floor.
